Together Green Fellowships

Audubon and Toyota are sponsoring an initiative that will encourage positive environmental change, according to Together Green.

These initiatives include projects such as reviving public gardens and edible landscapes, clean energy, transforming abandoned lots into healthy ecosystems, and various educational programs.

The fund, launched in 2008, sponsors new members each year based on their proficiency, leadership and commitment to green community efforts. Winning members attend a weeklong professional development course at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife’s National Conservation Training Center in West Virginia and receive a $10,000 grant, start-up aid for projects, as well as the opportunity to network with other conservation professionals.

Together Green encourages applications from budding volunteer leaders and mid-career environmentalists who are committed to making a difference. Fellows will be selected by an advisory board made up of top notch professionals and educators in the field of conservation.
